A: That’s great! You should be able to understand more of what I do so it will make it go by quicker. Are you available this week, or would next week work better for you?

Q: I’m all set with that

A: You’re all set with helping me? That is all I’m asking you. You’re probably concerned I’m coming over to sell you something. Is that how you feel? (Wait for answer. Separate message to follow.) Look, I would never use our relationship to manipulate you to buy something you don’t want or need. I’m going to show you what I’m doing so that when you come across someone who can use my services, you can connect them to me. If you see something, from what I do, that you want to know if you can improve, then we can speak about it then. But that’s not the purpose of meeting with me.

Q: I’ll let you know

A: Honestly, this is really important. I’m launching a new career and you’re someone that I believe I can count on. I’m only asking for time. Can I count on you this week or next week?

Q: Why does my spouse need to be there?

A: Good question. It’s because I’ll be working with couples so in order for the appointment to count, I need you both to be there.
